Erin Appoints New Board Member

Erin Ventures Inc. (TSX-Venture: EV) is pleased to welcome Mr. Paolo Bonini to its Board of Directors. Mr. Bonini is an economist and business professional with 18 years experience in the boron industry.

Mr. Bonini has successfully served on the management team of Società Chimica Larderello S.p.A. ("SCL") since 1994. He joined SCL as the Chief Financial Officer before being promoted to General Manager in 1999, and ultimately the Chief Executive Officer in 2001, the position he continues to hold. Under Mr. Bonini's direction SCL has continued to grow and prosper, with EBITDA increasing by +100% during the past five years.

Mr. Bonini's experience and training will be of great benefit to Erin, as SCL has been a leader in the boron industry since 1818 (making it the world's oldest producer of boric acid). SCL is the only European producer of boron products, engaged in the production and marketing of specialty boric derivative products with applications that include the nuclear, electronic, chemical, and pharmaceutical sectors. Under Mr. Bonini's leadership, SCL has achieved worldwide sales, distributing its products in more than 50 countries.

Mr. Bonini will also serve on Erin’s audit committee. This appointment is subject to TSX approval.

Mr. Bonini replaces Dr. Dragosavljevic on the Board, whose application for TSX approval has been withdrawn. Dr. Dragosavljevic has resigned as the result of a ruling by the Serbian authorities which prohibits him from having a business relationship with Erin for a two year period after leaving his government position.
