Erin Clarifies Deep River Property Disclosure Information

In the course of the ongoing review by the British Columbia Securities Commission (“BCSC”), Erin Ventures Inc. is issuing the following clarifying news release.

The BCSC has reviewed the Report on the company’s Deep River property dated December 24, 2010, and subsequent amendments to the report and continues to express concerns about the methods, parameters and assumptions used in the Report for estimating mineral resources, as well as the estimates themselves. The Company proposes to resolve these concerns by retaining an independent qualified person to review and audit the estimates or, if appropriate, prepare a new estimate. It is expected that this will take about two weeks to complete. As a result, the public is cautioned not to rely on the estimate in the Report until it is supported by a compliant independent technical report. The Company will promptly announce any material changes to the Deep River resource estimate that result from the audit or preparation of a compliant report.
